"While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we've always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged", read a statement from a Warner Bros. spokesperson after the initial publication of this story. Henry Cavill last appeared in Mission: Impossible - Fallout. In addition, his manager Dany Garcia tweeted that "the cape is still in his closet". Gal Gadot is still on as Wonder Woman while Aquaman and The Flash are still in place too. Cavill's odd video doesn't give a straight answer as to whether he will continue in the cape or not, but it certainly adds to the mystery.
