Student poster prank in Texas McDonald's goes unnoticed for nearly two months

The student posted a photo to Twitter showing the poster still hanging inside the store 51 days after the prank began.

In an interview with Click2Houston website, Maravilla said he and his friends were inspired by "Crazy Rich Asians".

It shows the lengthy measures Jevh and his friend Christian took to producing the poster.

"All the other posters were in natural environments, like a city or at the beach, so we went to our local event center", he explained.

"One day, my bud Christian and I were eating at McDonald's, munching on some snack wraps".

Jevh says he was anxious his parents would be cross but they were so amused they visited the restaurant and posed for photos with it.

"And I really hope they'll never take it down", Maravilla says in the video. He then shared how they planned the whole thing, how they made the poster, and him pretending to be an employee of the fast food chain just to sneak in the photo. "I needed one friend to record and two friends to help me hang it up".

To seal the deal, Maravilla posed as a Regional Interior Coordinator - where a fake badge and a Mickey D's uniform shirt purchased at Goodwill - and secretly hung the poster on the restaurant's wall. "I was very, very nervous", Jevh said.

"It is still up", Maravilla proudly told InsideEdition.com Tuesday.

"We weren't trying to make a bad rap with them, we weren't trying to do any harm", Maravilla said.

Amazingly, they arrived in the restaurant, put the poster up and left without any real McDonald's staff member coming to question them. "That's the main goal". "We applaud these students" creativity and hope to see them in our restaurants again soon'.
