Last solar eclipse of 2018 to occur today

The solar Eclipse on 11 August will be the last in the series of phenomena, which astrologers call "the corridor of eclipses 2018".

Despite watching the solar eclipse, either partial or full should not be seen with open or naked eyes.

Here's all you need to know about the upcoming partial solar eclipse, including what a solar eclipse is, when it will occur, where it will be visible from, if it will ever reach totality and when the next solar eclipses will occur. There is a myth that even chopping vegetables, fruits or any other eatables while the solar eclipse lasts, can contaminate or poison the food.

The next solar Eclipse will happen July 2, 2019.

On August 11, some parts of the world will be witnessing the partial solar eclipse. As per the report of NASA, Surya Grahan 2018 will only visible in the countries like Northern Canada, Scandinavia, parts of Siberia, Central Asia, North-eastern US, Greenland as well as some parts of China on 11 August.

This time Solar Eclipse will start from 1:30 in the afternoon of the Indian time and ends at 5 pm.

On the Korean Peninsula, the Eclipse will see when the Sun will come. As the three bodies are found in a straight line, residents from some parts of the Earth will find part of the Sun blocked by the Moon's shadow.

In Ukraine, unfortunately, opportunities to observe this Eclipse will not.

Viewers of solar eclipses are advised to never look directly at the Sun, and either wear specialised glasses or viewing boxes. Instead, they suggest the "Pinhole Projection" or the "Optical Protection" methods for viewing safety.
