Samsung Introduces 2-in-1 Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Tablet

With Samsung DeX, users can open multiple desktop-style windows for their Android apps, including the Microsoft Office suite, directly on the Galaxy Tab S4, and re-size them when needed.

Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, a new 2-in-1 Android tablet designed for people who want to do more on the go, from home to the office and everywhere in between. Adding icing to the cake, it also packs the S Pen Stylus. It can be availed in colors like Black and Blue.

Samsung has also brought in Samsung DeX for the first time in a tablet which lets users connect the Tab S4 to a larger external display through an HDMI to USB-C multi-port adapter. Around two or three months ago, the Tab S4 made appearances over certification and benchmark websites.

Speaking of the Dex support, it allows connection of the tablet to a device with a large display. That did give out a bit of info regarding the premium tablet from Samsung. "Featuring a refreshed design, enhanced parental controls and new home connectivity capabilities, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is the ideal complement for the modern household", he said. The Snapdragon 450 SoC powers the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 boots up to Android 8.1 Oreo, and, comes with 32 GB of storage on-board, with an option to further expand the storage up to 400 GB via microSD card. A modification with 64 GB of built-in storage will cost users $ 650 (16 900 UAH). It is equipped with a selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture. It supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD slot. The Tab S4 also supports an iris scanner which when paired with the front camera provides facial recognition through Intelligent Scan feature. "We look forward to providing our customers with a sense of leisure and comfort knowing that this new addition to our ecosystem of connected devices is also packed with features to help them stay entertained".

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 in its "Book Cover" case. Additional features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE (optional), Bluetooth 5.0, and Global Positioning System for connectivity as well as a Book Cover keyboard which can convert the tablet device into a 2-in-1 laptop. "Featuring a refreshed design, enhanced parental controls and new home connectivity capabilities, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5" is the flawless complement for the modern household.

The rest of the device is fairly similar to the Tab S4, with a 7 300mAh battery, LTE connectivity and Android 8.1 layered beneath a Samsung designed skin. Pricing is unclear on the LTE-enabled versions.
