The launch event of the next-in flagship device will kick-off at 5pm BST (9:30pm IST) and the company will be live streaming the unveil event online. To bank more on the hype, the company announced OnePlus 6x Marvel Avenger Edition which will be launched alongside the regular device. The display will feature a notch as confirmed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei (who later took down his tweet) and previous leaks and the recent one from TENAA also seem to lock on 6.28-inch display sporting an FHD+ resolution. With a new design scheme, an iPhone-style notch at the top with minimal bezel at the bottom, it will look very different from the OnePlus phones of the past. But, it can be noted that the new phone houses Snapdragon 845 octa-core with latest Android Oreo software, both of which are said to be optimized to work efficiently with less consumption of power even while playing graphics-heavy games. It will include 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage. It will possibly get a vertical dual rear camera setup with a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor.

The new device is also expected to have similar features like OnePlus 5T. Further, the OnePlus is said to be backed by a 3300mAh Dash Charge-compatible battery.

The OnePlus 6 is expected to price sub-Rs 40,000, at least for the base models with 6GB RAM and 64GB and 128GB storage options. The pricing for the 256GB variant has not been leaked, but we can expect it to be priced in the Rs. 45,000 price bracket.

On the 21st of May, OnePlus pop-ups are set to open globally in India, US, China, and Europe.

The countdown has begun for launch of the most-awaited smartphone, OnePlus 6, in India on May 17.

A day before the OnePlus 6 is set to be unveiled in London, the company revealed that the handset will be available for sale via Amazon in some of the most important markets on the continent, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
