RAGE 2 Gets its First Gameplay Trailer, where Insanity rules the World

RAGE 2's "debut" trailer was kooky, but this gameplay footage more than lives up to the "Insanity Rules" premise Bethesda and Avalanche Studios are promising. RAGE 2 brings together a true open world FPS experience where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. From the swamplands and jungles where enemies lurk among the dense foliage, to the open deserts where a passing auto is more likely to mow you down than offer you a ride, the world of RAGE 2 is not a gentle, nurturing place. It was just one of those games that exists, you play it, and you never think about it again, made worse by the fact it released after Borderlands had already dominated the post-apocalyptic shooter schtick.

While everyone thought that the leaked announcement of Bethesda's and ID Software's RAGE 2 was fake, it apparently isn't. From the swamplands and jungles where enemies lurk among the dense foliage, to the open deserts where a passing auto is more likely to mow you down than offer you a ride, the world of Rage 2 is not a gentle, nurturing place.

Rage 2 will be a collaborative effort. Get a first look of the upcoming game in our first official gameplay trailer. Publisher Bethesda has teamed up with id Software and Avalanche Studios to create an open world shooter that looks like Resdient Evil meets Destiny.
