NBA Reportedly Warns Drake Over Verbal Altercation With Kendrick Perkins

The NBA has warned Drake about "the use of bad language", a league source told 's Adrian Wojnarowski, after the rapper and Cleveland's Kendrick Perkins traded angry words as the Cavs and Raptors left the court at halftime of Game 1 Tuesday night.

The heated exchanged was reportedly ignited when Perkins began talking trash to Raptors' Serge Ibaka, which Drake overhead and "butted in" on.

The NBA has a fan code of conduct that calls for spectators to behave without disruption.

According to USA TODAY Sports' Josh Peter, the National Basketball Association investigated the incident involving Perkins and Drake. Security and other Cleveland players kept the two apart.

The Raptors hosted Game 2 on Thursday (Friday NZT).

He wrote: "The Raptors' global ambassador is becoming a global embarrassment".

Perkins told ESPN, "At the end of the day, it isn't about Perk versus Drake; that doesn't even sound right".

It's safe to say a guy like Drake isn't anxious about bring fined for misconduct on the sidelines, and he'll likely continue to try and make an impact on the Cavs moving forward.
