John Legend Appears to Call out Friend Kanye West Following Twitter Spree

"So many people who love you feel so betrayed".

Singer Macy Gray posted an Instagram photo of her wearing a "Make Kanye Great Again" hat alluding to that 2005 moment. I am your brother too. "Shania, who I think is terrific, but she made a mistake by sort of saying, 'I wish I didn't go public with it, ' but we know how she feels", he said. Trump responded in another tweet, using the acronym for his slogan.

Earlier, West had written, "You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself", he wrote. "And really importantly, the unemployment picture is the best it's been in the history of our country for African-Americans".

One voice in particular served some pretty scalding home truths about Kanye's family members, many of whom will find themselves victimised by policies emanating from the Trump Administration - Connor Franta. I'm sure JL didn't expect Yeezy to sabotage him like that and label Legend as anti-Trump.

He later followed up with another tweet which read, "Next President gon be independent".

West also played a few bars for his audience during the meeting; there's no telling if these will be included on any of his forthcoming albums.

He has recorded several best-selling albums and produced a buzzy fashion line and has the undeniable talent for attracting attention. He's flipped on President Bush and interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at The MTV Video Music Awards back in 2009.

Chance the Rapper chimed into the heated topic and said, "Black people don't have to be Democrats".

Legend's wife, Chrissy Teigen, had something to say about West sharing the text message.

The "Well-known" rapper, who has all the time been identified for his out-of-the-box ideas, engaged in a Twitter tirade which started on Tuesday and prolonged into Wednesday afternoon. On the other hand, West's wife Kim Kardashian supported his right to speak his mind and be a "free thinker". And InfoWars host Alex Jones, a conspiracy theory promoter, invited West onto his show. Just prior, while on a tour that would soon be cancelled, the rapper had begun expressing an affinity for Trump, and when he resurfaced the next month, it was to meet with the new president-elect.

If the alliance between the Knowles-Carter clan and the Obamas was about a coalescence of grace and cool, West and Trump's union is about unflinching narcissism and the startling efficacy of exploiting your cult of celebrity for personal gain.
