In previous evacuations, buses leaving Douma have gathered near Wafideen or on the side of the motorway outside Damascus, and waited for hours for others to join them before setting off as a full convoy to northern Syria.

Buses carrying Syrian civilians and rebels began leaving the last opposition holdout in Eastern Ghouta Tuesday on a second day of evacuations, as the regime eyed the total reconquest of the enclave.

According to the SNHR Syrian regime forces carried out 33 attacks before UN Security Council resolution 2118 was issued in 2013, and 181 attacks after that resolution.

It was the first organized evacuation of fighters from Douma, one of the earliest centers of the anti-government demonstrations that swept through the country in 2011.

Since the Syrian crisis broke out in 2011, the Chinese government has signed multiple agreements with worldwide bodies, including the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the global Committee of the Red Cross, to provide medical and food aid to Syrian refugees.

In April 2017, under a deal sponsored by regime ally Iran and rebel backer Qatar, almost 11,000 people leave four besieged areas. Russian Federation is a key backer of the Syrian government.

Turkey, with support from rebels, is running its own military operations against a US -backed Kurdish militia in northern Syria, which controls territory along the frontier.

The Central Military Media outlet, which is linked to the Syrian military, says the Army of Islam has agreed to leave the town of besieged town of Douma for Jarablus, a town shared between rebel and Turkish control in north Syria. She pointed out that faced with this hard situation, the country's president Bashar Al-Assad set up a commission, made up of 11 ministers, that will be in charge of enrolling these minors in schools and giving them special attention. Security forces responded by putting the town and other suburbs around Damascus under siege, bombing hospitals and residential areas, and blocking the entry of food and medical relief. Douma is one of the last pockets of the opposition around the capital to hold out against the government. There was no comment from the Army of Islam.

Syrian state news agency SANA reported fighters would go to the rebel-controlled town of Jarabulus in the northern province of Aleppo.

After President Bashar al-Assad's forces recaptured most of Eastern Ghouta, the forces discovered an underground network of tunnels formerly held by the rebel forces.
