First Warning Forecast: A cool evening on tap

Dry weather is back in the forecast to start our Easter Weekend. Expect overnight temperatures to turn chilly, dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s by sunrise on Sunday. Temperatures will also begin to increase at this time, but only slowly at first.

High Pressure across the Four Corners region will direct a couple of fast moving cold fronts across Wyoming over the next few days.

Next Wednesday: Rain coverage looks to return on Wednesday as new front arrives in our area. The situation will be most noticeable in the corridor from Livingston to Billings where gusts over 50 miles an hour are possible.

River levels remain high and continue to rise along the Sabine with increased releases resulting in higher forecast crests. We stay dry for the second half of Wednesday through Friday morning.

Early next week: Cool mornings and warm afternoons with partly cloudy skies are expected through Tuesday.

Highs Friday will reach into the 50s and lower 60s by mid-afternoon.

Next week brings at least a slight chance of rain nearly everyday except Wednesday but chances of seeing rain everyday are small. South winds will be around 5 miles per hour.

High pressure drifting off the east coast of the US will make for nice weather through the holiday weekend.

A big warmup for Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s under a mix of sun and clouds.
