Luigi's Mansion will arrive on 3DS sometime this year, although Nintendo didn't announce an exact release date.

As great as the 3DS Luigi Mansion games might be, it does feel a little odd that Nintendo hasn't bothered to revisit the Luigi's Mansion concept via a console release since the original game debuted alongside the GameCube in 2001. The last game, Dillon's Rolling Western, was out in 2013, but for this newest adventure, you'll be fighting off an alien invasion on the frontier, and be able to rope your Mii in to fight with as well.
