Raiders release Aldon Smith after latest incident

The victim in this case suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Last year, Smith was detained for "public intoxication" after a vehicle crash with an unmarked police auto.

San Francisco police, who identified Smith as a suspect Sunday in a statement, told ESPN on Monday that they still want to speak to him about the incident.

Via multiple reports, Smith has been involved in another off-field situation.

Police responded Saturday night to an incident involving the suspended Raider, but he was not there when they arrived, police said. "More info as I find out".

ABC News could not immediately reach Smith's fiancee for comment.

Smith, who was playing on a one-year deal with the Raiders when he was suspended, re-signed with the Raiders in 2016 but has yet to be cleared to return to the league. Andraychak said investigators are asking for the public's help finding Smith. "The guy's name is Aldon Smith".

Smith has a lengthy rap sheet. The NFL went on to issue Smith a one-year suspension due to the hit-and-run incident in August of 2015 that led to his release from the 49ers. He also was ordered to attend a treatment facility, undergo anger management classes and was forbidden to go to bars. He was arrested in 2012 and 2013 for suspicion of DUI and in 2014 for not cooperating with a TSA agent, who claimed he said he had a bomb.

It's only been a week since former Mizzou star Aldon Smith got engaged, but now he's reportedly in trouble with the law again. The charges later were reduced to misdemeanors.
