Parents were waiting anxiously outside the school for their children to be evacuated.

Students are in the process of being released to their parents. "I thought it would never happen here but obviously, that is not the case", said Larkins, who was emotional at the thought of what could've happened. Parents at the school said police would not give them any information about what was happening, except to say it's serious.

"UPDATE: JMMS students will be released beginning around 1045AM", the school posted on Facebook.
