College hoops coach accused of sexual assault erupts at 'malicious lies'

Tucson TV station KOLD reports the suit was filed Thursday in Pima County Superior Court by former Georgia Tech booster Ron Bell and his girlfriend, Jennifer Pendley. Then, when talking to the NCAA he reportedly dropped some kind of information about Pastner sexually assaulting Pendley. Now there is a counter claim that accuses Pastner of sexual assault in February 2016, when he was still with the University of Memphis.

Pastner filed a defamation lawsuit last month following the claims, calling the allegations "fabricated and false".

In response to the counterclaim, Scott Tompsett, Pastner's attorney says "There was no sexual assault".

Pastner flatly called the accusation "a lie".

The documents says Pastner got up and walked to stand right in front of her where he allegedly "looked down at Pendley and began stroking her hair".

As part of the lawsuit, it was revealed Bell had also told NCAA investigators of the alleged sexual assault in December 2017.

Despite Pendley's cries of "no" and attempts to resist, according to the suit, Pastner tried to force her head town to his penis before ejaculating on her shirt. Josh never acted improperly with Ms. Pendley. The statement goes on to highlight Bell's alleged criminal past and "long history of dishonest and antisocial behavior". She told Bell about the assault in October, according to the suit.

Here is the full statement from Pastner's lawyer on the situation. "Upon learning of the allegations, I immediately informed law enforcement and officials at Georgia Tech".

Pastner, who was hired at Georgia Tech in 2016 after seven seasons at Memphis that included three conference championships, expressed severe disappointment in his accusers when he first filed his lawsuit.
