Former Dolphins guard Richie Incognito accused of using 'racist slur' vs. Jaguars

Former Dolphins guard Richie Incognito accused of using 'racist slur' vs. Jaguars

During the Jaguars' open locker room session today, Ngakoue declined to discuss the specifics of his tweet.

Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue celebrated Jacksonville's AFC Wild Card win over the Bills on Sunday, but he also had a response to Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito.

Ngakoue said Incognito insulted his ethnicity. "And 64, you goin have to come harder than some weak racist slurs", Ngakoue wrote on Twitter.

Of course, Incognito was suspended by the Miami Dolphins for eight games in 2013 for his role in a bullying incident with teammate Jonathan Martin. Martin has since retired, while Incognito signed with the Bills in February 2015 and has played three solid seasons in Buffalo.

The Bills lost their first playoff game since 2000 by a score of 10-3. When Ngakoue was asked what the racial slurs were he responded that he didn't remember specifically but that the Bills' player definitely made them.

"I've been playing this game since I was a little kid", Ngakoue said.

Ngakoue said he did not confront Incognito on the field. The former Nebraska football star said the player deserved it because of a shot Gronkowski made on a Buffalo Bills player a few weeks prior.

Offensive lineman Dion Dawkins sent out a tweet saying that he was, "next to my guy the entire game and the entire season" and never heard any racist comments come from Incognito.

"I couldn't", Ngakoue said.

"Did I confront him? Nah".

"It just depends on the player, some type of trash talk gets in there", Jones said. "That's why we have this platform to use to try and help bring change".
