Including green vegetables in your daily diet can reduce the symptoms of dementia to a great extent. Consumption of fresh fruits is better than drinking canned juice. The researchers concluded that vegetables made people eleven years younger than those who did not eat them. The study results suggest that people who ate one serving of green, leafy vegetables had a slower rate of decline on tests of memory and thinking skills than people who rarely or never ate them.

Researchers from Rush University and Tufts University studied almost 1,000 people and found out that those who ate one to two daily servings of green vegetables like lettuce, kale or spinach had a significantly lower rate of cognitive decline.
