Clinton shows restraint in taking dig at Trump, plugs new book

“I think I will maybe come as the president!”.

Were it not for President Donald Trump's victory last November, Hillary Clinton would be sitting in the Oval Office as we speak. Hannity at one point started to say "Hillary Clinton", but stopped and continued on about, "President Clinton". The storyline has been pushed by President Donald Trump in his many Twitter rants against his former 2016 election rival.

"You can find out what happened and what is still happening", she laughed, holding up a copy of her book.

Although it's not clear if Clinton meant that she'd be herself as the President, or dress up as President Trump, just the idea that she can laugh at her very hard loss in the 2016 election is something to aspire to.

Earlier on Monday, Trump campaign associates Paul Manafort and Rick Gates were charged with a 12-count indictment as part of the investigation into possible connections between Trump's team and the Kremlin. At her book release event, Clinton humorously called out Fox News for shifting the focus onto her whenever scandal surrounding Trump comes to light.

Watch above, via Fox News. The guilty plea by former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos was also announced Monday. She made a joke Saturday night that the network treats her as if she was in charge of the government.
